August 13th. 2025

This delightful small tree or bush that someone kindly identified for me on the day as a Grey Willow (Salix cinerea) and I can find no evidence so far to suggest otherwise. A wisely sited bench seat underneath to keep the sun off. This is a very exposed route in all seasons: August 13th. 2025

A close-up and a leaf sample if anyone is interested. Larger image on request: August 13th. 2025

The only gate on the route, which includes a readily accessible latch and the gate opens easily: August 13th. 2025

This may offer an interesting alternative slight detour option for heavier motorised scooters as it leads to some interesting views. A small crescent shaped detour which returns to the track: August 13th. 2025

Views and potential long lens options. I see Brown Hare here from time to time. Above here to your left is ground nesting bird terrain as well as Brown Hares. Quiet place where I like to film Green Hairstreak Butterflies: August 13th. 2025

I keep looking for Lizards near walls at this far end but have not photographed one yet (seen yes): August 13th. 2025
