It is not my intention to catalogue each and every larva and exuvia for every species. Too time consuming actually physically identifying them, even with my library. Labour-intensive as it is, identifying many Moths. I will simply post images of typical specimens under each heading. Hawkers, Darters and Chasers etc. The image below shows an adult hawker still emerging from an exuvia on my own pond. I need to salvage that exuvia as a sample for educators. In the interests of accuracy, these images by and large will not be sourced in the Goyt Valley but larvae and exuviae must be there by definition. All images are locally sourced and from Thereabouts. Dates will mostly not be published as they are largely irrelevant under this heading.
