| My first in the Goyt and not the best of shots but these (and Grey Wagtails) are invariably in a situation where a useful background is denied. These birds are very twitchy and I was sat still, camera set up and ready to fire off a couple of rounds if something appeared. When it did I assumed at first (given the distance) it was the Wagtail as it was 'bobbing'. Still I am delighted to add to my Goyt Valley list: May 2nd. 2024 |
